But the only reason why Parents don’t want their youngsters to eat these is that they adversely affect the health of children. But, there are ways to make healthy cookies right at your home. The benefit of these cookies is that they are tastier than most of the cookies available in the market and they won’t affect your health much.
- 100 gm (1/2 cup) butter
- 220 gm (1 cup) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp milk
- 100 gm (1 cup) oats
- 140 gm (1 cup) whole wheat or plain flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
First and foremost, put butter, sugar, vanilla, and milk in a large bowl and beat them until it becomes creamy and smooth. Now, take another bowl and put the oats, flour, cinnamon powder and baking soda into it. Mix well all these ingredients in the bowl.
Combine the ingredients of both bowls into a single bowl and knead the mixture until you can form doughs out of it.
Make 24 round balls out of the mixture and place on a greasy tray keeping a little gap between each one of them.
Next, bake it in the oven preheated at 175 degrees Celsius for around 15 to 20 minutes for chewy cookies. If you want crispier cookies, then bake for 25 minutes to 30 minutes at same temperature.
